A tropical island sounds like paradise, until you’re caught in an intense crossfire. Return to the scene of one of the most ambitious GTA Online adventures in Assault on Cayo Perico — a new Adversary Mode that pits teams of Attackers and Defenders against each other on the distant island’s gorgeous shores.
One team is tasked with attacking the island in hopes of hacking a crucial computer terminal. Meanwhile, the opposing squad must defend El Rubio’s island paradise until time runs out, wiping out any interlopers that breach the island’s defenses.
Attackers will need to navigate the island and dodge the defending team’s suppressive fire, starting from the airfield, maneuvering through the docks, destroying radar arrays en route, and culminating in a tense standoff inside the fortified compound.
This week, both sides of this action-packed conflict will earn 2X GTA$ and RP for taking part in this mode’s explosive inauguration. This week also marks the return of several classic combative Adversary Modes to GTA Online, including Occupy, Extraction, and Trading Places (Remix).

Complete a Gunrunning Resupply Mission and an Ammu-Nation Contract before September 6 will receive the Atomic Rally Spec livery for the Maibatsu MonstroCiti (Off-Road) within 10 days of completion.
